Earlier this week I was rounding up some images of Mediterranean getaways for a post on Apartment Therapy, when I came across the most gorgeous hotel, and knew I needed to share it here, as well.
The Perivolas Luxury Hotel in Oia, Santorini, is Mediterranean style at its best: cool, crisp and calming. I’ve never been to Santorini, but the Greek island is definitely high on my travel bucket list, and this stunning place only makes it more so. Some friends are planning a holiday to Greece in September, and I’m pretty much seething with jealousy at the moment.
First of all, the traditional, built-into-the-stone architecture of this place is to die for; I love the undulating shapes of the plastered and whitewashed walls. I’m also adoring the restrained colour scheme, which is nothing more than pops of vibrant colour with the odd bit of dark wood against all that white. After all, with the famous Santorini sunsets to gaze at, you don’t need much decoration.

Here’s hoping your weekend is as full of beauty as this place!
