Happy Monday! Things got a little hectic at work this week, and I spent a lot of time trying to catch up (and get ahead) in preparation for my mini-holiday to Copenhagen, which is coming up quickly. The weekend was spent packing, seeing friends, and doing a bit of DIY around the house.
A view from Vauxhall Bridge, which I snapped while walking to my perspective drawing course at Chelsea College of Art and Design post-work.
Also, a sample sketch from my first class (let’s hope I get better).
A Romanesco cauliflower from this week’s vegetable delivery; I’m loving having organic, local vegetables just turn up at my door.
My local park, snapped post-run one night after work. How is it this dark in the evenings already?!
I began painting my wooden bedside table this weekend, a crisp white to better work with the other things in my bedroom. I’ll be doing a full How To post on Apartment Therapy later this week.
My favourite London department store, Liberty. Photographed hurriedly while rushing to meet friends in Soho on Saturday evening.
My Sunday got off to the best possible start: breakfast with an old friend in a cute local coffee shop.
I found some time on Sunday afternoon to make a pizza, one of my very favourite things to cook from scratch.
So what have you been up to lately? If you’re in Canada, have a Happy Thanksgiving, and spare a thought for those of us who are far from home (and stuck at work) today!
