Clearly, I’m not over my stripe infatuation yet. I found these images yesterday via sfgirlbybay’s Pinterest account, and they fit my current mood so well.
The images, of Holland’s famous tulip fields as seen by satellite, are the work of London-based artist Mishka Henner. Rather than using traditional photography to create his work, Mishka is pushing the boundaries of the medium, “curating” his work instead from Google Street View and satellite imagery.
I’m not entirely sure how I feel about this method of creating art, but I know what I think of these pictures. They’re awesome, no?
